“I try to challenge my creativity and the material I’m working with,” says product and furniture designer
Louise Hederstrom. All types of material are acceptable for Louise, who lets her choice of material be the
starting point for her product concepts. Other sources of inspiration are music, animals, colours – and Elvis
Presley. Louise Hederstrom’s furniture has a playful character the idea of which is to create a close contact
between the object and the user. She also tries to inspire movement and variation when furnishing. Louise
always works with clear shapes and her high quality goes without saying.
